Alia Bhatt gifts a house each to her personal driver and house help


Actor Alia Bhatt reportedly gifted her long-time personal driver and helper cheques with which they could purchase houses in Mumbai. She gave them both Rs 50 lakh each. Alia made this generous offer a couple of days before her birthday.

Reports suggest that her driver Sunil and her help Anmolhave been with her since since she debuted in Bollywood back in 2012 with Karan Johar's Student of the Year. Report further mentions that both of them have already booked houses in Juhu Gully and Khar Danda.

Alia recently made headlines for having purchased a posh house in Juhu for herself. The Rs 13 Crore apartment fuelled speculation that Alia is planning to move in with her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. Alia dismissed the reports and said that the property is intended as an office space for her new production company. She said, "Nothing of the sort. It is a place I’ve bought as my office space. Yes, I’ve started my own production house. I’ve named it Eternal Sunshine Productions. Do you like it?"

She added,"Firstly, I bought this home where I live very close to my parent’s home so that I could be close to my parents and sister. I wouldn’t like that to change. Secondly, I built my home brick by brick all my own. Every piece of furniture in the house every knick knack is selected personally by me. This is where I live. This is my home. That won’t change."

On the professional front, Alia will be seen next in period drama Kalank. The film is set to hit theatres on 17 April 2019. She will also be seen opposite beau Ranbir Kapoor in Brahmastra. This ambitious fantasy film directed by Ayan Mukherji is set to release in December.
