Ayushmann Khurrana writes a heartfelt poem on Pulwama Terror Attack


India is currently mourning the death of 40 CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force). Everyone is angry about the bombing that took place in Pulwama, Kashmir. A lot of Bollywood actors paid their respects to the families of the martyred soldiers. Amitabh Bachchan announced that he will be donating Rs 5 Lakh each to the families of the jawans. While Ayushmann Khurrana penned down a poem and expressed his feelings.

Ayushmann put everyone's feelings of pain to words and wrote an emotional poem expressing his solidarity  for the jawans who lost their lives for the nation. It is dedicated to the families of Indian Army  who fight for our peace. They fight and sacrifice their lives in the name of the country. Have a read of this poem here -


The Andhadhun actor, is known for the choice of his films. On being asked if his choices of film gives him a sense of validation, he said, "It has been happening for the past two years that both my movies (Shubh Mangal Savdhaan and Bareilly Ki Barfi in 2017) released simultaneously and both did well. I think, yes, you are right, it validated my choices, to begin with, my sensibilities, irrespective of the initial hiccups I faced post Vicky Donor. I always believed in those scripts and I am glad these are working. This is the new trend we faced, in 2017, especially in 2018 where we have overused the word 'content is the king'. But it is nice to back such scripts, to be a part and helm such scripts which are very unique and are clutter breaking."


On professional front, Ayushmann has had a great year in 2018 with Badhaai Ho and Andhadhun. He is currently filming for an upcoming project titled Dream Girl. This will be the first time we will see Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha on the big screen. He has also signed a third film with Bhumi Pednekar titled 'Bala'. The film will see Ayushmann as a prematurely balding guy and Bhumi will be a dusky small-town girl. The shooting for this one is supposed to begin in March 2019.
