Love has overcrowded the air and couples are getting married like there is no tomorrow. After Sonam Kapoor married Anand Ahuja, Deepika got hitched to Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra took us by surprise by tying the knot to Nick Jonas. Only a few days later, Isha Ambani decided to take a leap of faith and got married to Anand Piramal. Now, her twin brother Akash Ambani is set to tie the knot to childhood friend Shloka Mehta.
Shloka is the younger daughter of diamond merchant Russell Mehta and Mona Mehta. After the couple got engaged last year, they threw a party to celebrate the union with Bollywood celebrities and other big names from Ambani's business community. The couple also organized lavish pre-wedding ceremonies at St Moritz in Switzerland.
Akash and Shloka are set to tie the knot at the Trident hotel which will be followed by dinner at Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex. The wedding festivities have begun in full swing and guests have begun to arrive to attend the wedding. Several Bollywood celebrities and a few business tycoons have reached the venue.
Before Mala and Mehendi ceremonies, Akash and Shloka hosted an Anna Seva where they served 2000 underprivileged children at Jio World Centre at BKC, Mumbai. The wedding will allegedly observe various celebrities from different professions. The wedding will reportedly followed by Mangal Parv on March 10, 2019. An official reception will be held on March 11, 2019.
