Alia Bhatt transforms into any character presented to her. Recently, she was asked to be a bridesmaid in her childhood friend Devika Advani's wedding, she let go of her starry image and fell right into place. Alia has shared a couple of Instagram stories of the same. Pictures and videos from the haldi and mehendi ceremony have been uploaded now the sangeet has been made public.
Alia was dressed in a floral pinklehenga designed by Anushree Reddy. She looked cute and really adorable. She danced on Bollywood songs like Coca Cola from Luka Chuppi and Mahi Ve from Kal ho na ho. Check out her dancing skills in this video -
The Raazi actress even gave a special speech for her friend. In the video, Alia recalls her childhood moments with her friend. They used to play 'Actor-Actress' and Alia always had to play the boy character. Alia thanked the groom and his family for being them and accepting her friend with a huge heart and open arms.
On the professional front, Alia just had a release "Gully Boy" which was directed by Zoya Akhtar. She is working with Ayan Mukherji's Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. She has wrapped Abhishek Verman's Kalank co-starring Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapur. She is yet to begin shooting for Karan Johar's Takht which is set to release next year.
