Terror attack in Pulwama: Akshay Kumar to Uri actor Vicky Kaushal all condemn the incident


Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama witnessed a cowardly terror attack yesterday. A couple of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) soldiers were killed when terrorists blew up a CRPF bus which was a part of a 70-vehicle convoy. After a while, the attack was claimed by a banned terrorist organisation Jaish-e-Mohammad. The convoy was on its way to PUlwama when a suicide bomber crashed his SUV, full of explosives, into the bus. The attack has cost India 37 CRPF jawans' lives and many others are injured.



The Pulwama attack is the biggest in the history of Jammu and Kashmir till date. The suicide bomber, Adil Ahmad Dar, drove his SUV straight into the bus when the convoy was passing through Gundipoora section of Srinagar-Jammu highway. Every vehicle in the convoy was carrying 35-40 CRPF jawans.


Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, "The sacrifices of our brave security personnel shall not go in vain. The entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the families of the brave martyrs. May the injured recover quickly."


Global icon and our Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra Jonas took to Twitter to condemn the attack. She is currently celebrating Valentine's Day with her husband in London. She is among various Bollywood celebrities who expressed their shock and support for the jawans. She tweeted, "Absolutely shocked by the attack in #Pulwama...Hate is NEVER the answer!!! Strength to the families of the martyred jawans and the CRPF soldiers injured in the attack."


Salman Khan tweeted, "My heart goes out for the Jawans of our beloved country and their families who lost their life as martyrs to save our families... #YouStandForIndia."


Ajay Devgn also came forward and said, "Horrible and disgusting. Anger can't be put into words. #KashmirTerrorAttack."


Uri actor Vicky Kaushal also tweeted, "Deeply saddened and shocked to hear the news of the terror attack in #Pulwama. My heart goes out to the families of the brave CRPF soldiers we lost today and praying for the speedy recovery of those injured."


Abhishek Bachchan expressed his emotions on Twitter, he said, "Such terrible news coming from #Pulwama. Today when people are celebrating love, hate raises it's ugly head too. My thoughts and prayers for the martyrs and their families."


Pink actress Taapsee Pannu wrote, "These casualties are heart breaking and painful. I sincerely pray and wish I see an end to this hatred in my life time. Praying for the CRPF Jawans who suffered in Pulwama terror attack."


Khiladi Kumar who is known for his love for Indian defense tweeted, "Numb beyond belief at the dastardly terror attack on #CRPF soldiers in #Pulwama. May God give peace to their souls, and strength to their grieving families. Wishing the injured a speedy recovery. We can't let this be forgotten."
