SOTY 2: Will seniors Alia Bhatt, Siddharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan do a cameo?


After Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt made successful debut with Student of the Year, a lot is expected from the sequel. This film is mark a debut for Chunky Panday's daughter Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria. They are cast opposite the already established star kid Tiger Shroff. Looks like the original batch of students will be making a special appearance in the film.

The rumour is, "Farah Khan will be choreographing the song which only features Alia and the film’s team is figuring out ways to incorporate her co-stars from the first film, Varun and Sidharth, in the sequel. Both the actors are expected to shoot their portions in the coming weeks too. Alia and Tiger’s song will be shot over one week on a grand set that is being put up at a suburban studio."

While Alia will be seen dancing with Tiger in a starry dance number, Siddharth and Varun will also be seen making their presence count in the love triangle. While the original film was directed by Karan Johar himself, the sequel is being directed by Punit malhotra, who assisted him on Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham.

From the original cast, Alia recently delivered her biggest hit Gully Boy with Ranveer Singh. Varun and Siddharth are also doing well in their respective careers. Varun and Alia will be seen together in Kalank while Siddharth and Tara will be seen together in Marjaavaan. Student of the Year 2 is set to hit the theatres on May 10, 2019.
