Akash Ambani, older son of Nita and Mukesh Ambani and twin brother of Isha Ambani Piramal, got engaged to his childhood friend Shloka Mehta last year. Shloka Mehta is Diamond King Russell Mehta and wife Mona's youngest daughter. According to the wedding invite, this couple is set to get married on March 9, 2019.
After Isha's lavish wedding, it is twin brother Akash's turn to get married now. Wedding invites have been sent to the guests for one of the most awaited weddings of the year. A video has been made that gives you a sneak peek into the wedding invite. The first invite was offered to Mumbai's Siddhivinayak temple for good wishes and blessings for the couple.
The invite is essentially a pink box with a picture of Lord Krishna and Radha standing in a field surrounded by flowers and peacocks. The box opens to a compartment to a silver photo frame with Lord Krishna and Radha. Another compartment leads to apop-up wedding invite. The invite is orange in colour which seeks blessings for the bride and the groom. It reads, "O Suryadeva (Sun God). You are the light in our Akash. You illuminate our every Shloka."
The card also has a hand written note from Mukesh Ambani and wife Nita. Other pages have hold cards with details of all events planned for the wedding. The wedding is being held at Jio World Centre at Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). It will be followed by 'Mangal Parv' celebrations on March 10, 2019. The wedding reception will take place on March 11 which will wrap up all the ceremonies.
Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani went to Siddhivinayak temple along with wife Nita and youngest son Anant to offer the first invite for Akash and Shloka's wedding. Mukesh and Nita Ambai also flew to Chennai to invite DMK chief MK Stalin to the wedding.
