Pankaj Tripathi to work with Chris Hemsworth in his first Hollywood film


Pankaj Tripathi has established himself as one of the finest actors in Bollywood. He has impressed people with memorable performances in films like Newton, Bareilly Ki Barfi and Stree. Now, he is going to be shooting for his first ever Hollywood film with the Avengers star Chris Hemsworth.

While Chris has already started filming for the movie. Last November, Chris was shooting crucial portions of the film in Ahmedabad and Mumbai. Pankaj will now be joining the cast for the Thailand part of the schedule. He is expected to play quite a pivotal role in the film titled 'Dhaka'. This film will be Pankaj's first Hollywood film. The film also stars Golshifteh Farahani, David Harbour, Randeep Hooda and Manoj Bajpayee amongst many others.


Recently, Pankaj has also been offered to play a role in Kabir Khan's Kapil Dev biopic titled 83. He would be playing the World Cup team manager in the film while Ranveer Singh will play Kapil Dev. While Pankaj was excited with the collaboration, he said, "He is one of my favourite directors and we met a couple of times but never got an opportunity to work together. Then one day, he called me to narrate the story of 83 and at certain points, it made me tear up."

Pankaj revealed how he would prepare to play this part. He confessed, "I was good at bowling and fielding and I am hoping to brush up my batting skills while prepping for this film. I will also meet Man Singh ji and talk to him about his experiences. For now, I have been given some books and documents to refer to."
