Isha Ambani has been in the headlines with her starry wedding in December. Her marriage to Anand Piramal was one of the biggest events witnessed in the last decade. Now, after her marriage she is on the cover of a magazine.
In the interview, the girl who brought a turn to Reliance Industries by coming up with the idea of Jio, Isha also revealed a couple of things unknown to people about her. In the interview, she mentioned how her childhood had been like growing up in the Ambani household. Apart from this, she also revealed that she and her twin brother, Akash Ambani (co-owner of IPL team Mumbai Indians) were IVF babies.
Isha claimed, "My parents had us after seven years of marriage, my twin Akash and I were IVF babies. When my mother finally had us, she wanted to be a full-time mum initially. But later, she went back to work when we were five, but she was still a tiger mom."
Isha also dicsussed her privileged background. She said she knows and realises the value of money, hard work and humility despite being an Ambani. She revealed that her parents made sure that all the kids learnt and understood that. She further added, "I saw my father work very hard to chase that dream and build Reliance into the organisation that it is today. And though he worked long hours, he was always there when we needed him. At home, we were raised to have the same value system that our parents grew up with. They made sure we understood the value of money, hard work and humility."
