The actress is said to be in a relationship with Ranbir Kapoor. She has already met the family, in fact she along with her mother Soni Razdan have been spotted meeting Neetu Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. It seems like they are all fond of each other and enjoy each other's company.
While Ranbir has spoken about his relationship with Alia last year but Alia has maintained silence. Recently, at an interview, Alia revealed that she calls Ranbir's mother her friend. She described Neetu Kapoor as a fabulous human being and she calls her a friend. She also said that Ranbir seems to have inherited his attitude to life from his mother and that is as cool, relaxed and chilled-out as her.

Strong rumours have been floating that the couple is planning to get engaged this year.
