Bollywood's Simmba Ranveer Singh is currently getting a lot of appreciation for his success for his latest block buster hit. Simmba crossed the Rs 200 crore mark recently. On the professional front, he got married to Deepika Padukone in an intimate wedding ceremony at Lake Como last year. He is also waiting for his upcoming film Gully Boy to release next month where he plays a rapper.
In a recent interview he admitted the craziest thing he did for Deepika is that he flew halfway across the world just to spend a couple of minutes with his lady before flying back off to work. He believes her presence in his life helps sustain him as a person. He also understood that Deepika had been through heartbreaks and needed to take time before acknowledging him.
Giving a peek into his wedding he revealed that he asked Deepika to manage everything other than Music. He added that he took his sweet time to curate a playlist for their grand Italian wedding. He also mentioned the changes he had to adapt to after getting married. He said he cannot miss calls, he is not allowed to sat out too late and he is not allowed to leave the house without eating.
On being asked of his reaction to Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif attending their wedding reception. Ranveer said that it was a such a lovely gesture that both of them decided to come. He added, "It was very significant and very special to me that Anushka came."
