The first trailer for Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon's upcoming film Luka Chuppi is turning out to be complete treat for viewers. The trailer begins with Bollywood witnessing a wedding season from Anushka-Virat's wedding to Deepika-Ranveer and Priyanka-Nick's nuptials inspires Kartik to tie the knot as well.
Kartik meets Kriti and decide to try living-in experience before reading their wedding vows. But their families decide to joins them and they go on living like a married couple but without being married at all. Hence the twist and drama begins.
The trailer looks interesting with some fresh and hilarious scenes and situations. The film also stars Aparshakti Khurrana, Pankaj Tripathi and Vinay Pathak. The film looks like a wedding film of the year that the fans will be awiting for. The cast members had earlier shared some posters of the film branding their tagline, "Wherever this jodi goes, the family follows."
This film is set in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh and has been shot in Gwalior. This film is directed by Laxman Utekar and is set to hit the theatres on March 1, 2019. These two actors will also be seen sharing a couch on Karan Johar's chat show Koffee with Karan. This will be a first appearance of both these stars o the entertainment show.
Kartik and Kriti will be seen sharing screen spaces for the first time in this film. Kartik is still getting a credit for his last film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety which collected over Rs 100 crore at the box office. This was also his first film to make its place in the coveted 100 crore club. The film also starred Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Nijar. While Kriti was last seen Bareilly Ki Barfi which was a success at the box office and also praised by critics for her role. The film also starred Rajkumar Rao and Ayushmann Khurrana as the male leads.
