Actor Vicky Kaushal is ecstatic for his upcoming film Uri that released nationwide today (11 Januray 2019). He looked quite jumpy and full of josh in a recent video where a flight full of Bollywood stars scream lines from the film to promote Vicky's upcoming release.
Vicky flew to Delhi and back with Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkumar Rao, BHumi Pednekar, Karan Johar, Rohit Shetty, Ekta Kapoor, Filmmaker Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra among others. They flew to meet our honourable PM Narendra Modi. In the private jet, Vicky convinced others to help promote his film. Vicky shared a video on his Instagram featuring all of them in one airplane.
The video begin with vicky saying to the camera, “Guys I have something to say to you,” then he pans the camera to all his friends and asks, "How's the josh?" He is screaming at the top of his lungs just like his character in the film while the stars respond, "High, Sir!" They also chant "Jai Hind". Vicky then asks when is Uri releasing and they say "Tomorrow!"
Yesterday, PM Narendra Modi shared a picture on his Instagram with all these Bollywood celebrities. They all smiled for the camera. Karan Johar also shared a picture captioning the post, "Powerful and timely conversations can bring about change and this was one of what we hope will become a regular conversation. Meeting the Honorable Prime Minister @narendramodi today was an incredible opportunity."
He added, "Talking about the positive changes to transform India, he also mentioned that as a community, there is a huge interest of the youth to contribute to build a nation. There is so much that we want to do. And can do and this dialogue was towards how and what ways we can do that. When the youngest country (in demography) joins hands with the largest movie industry in the world, we hope to be a force to reckon with. Together we would love to inspire and ignite positive changes to a transformative India.” He also thanked PM Modi for reduction of GST (Goods and Services Tax) in movie ticket prices.
