Ayushmann Khurrana's wife Tahira Kashyap has been battling with cancer for a couple of months now. On September 22, 2018 Tahira revealed that she is having pre-invasive phase of breast cancer. She also shared a picture and stated her health condition. She remained strong and now she has taken her final session of chemotherapy. Yesterday, Tahira posted a few boomerang posts as she underwent her final chemo . She wrote a heartfelt post about her journey and thanked everyone who supported her through this phase in her life.
Posting a picture with the nurses, she wrote, "Can’t keep calm!!! Last and final chemo! Fuck yesss!! It’s been some journey. The learning has been immense, some of which, I know, I will realise with time. Thank you to each one who has been praying for me! Lots of love and prayers from my end to each one of you! My heart is bouncing with joy and gratitude."
Lots of fans poured best wishes for Tahira and applauded her for her courage through this difficult journey. The fans also wished her luck for her new directotial venture. Looks like 2019 is going to test Tahira in terms of her health and her work.
Tahira is set to make her directorial debut this year. The film will feature Madhuri Dixit Nene. While Ayushmann Khurrana is working on his next project titled 'Dream Girl'. It has been official that Ayushmann has signed his third film with Bhumi Pednekar titled 'Bala' where he will play a prematurely balding man.
