Anushka Sharma's husband Virat Kohli watched Zero: My wife was 'outstanding'


Indian skipper Virat Kohli took some time from his busy schedule to go watch his wife's newly released film 'Zero'. Ahead of his impending Third test match between India and Australia which is to be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Kohli, after watching Anushka, Katrina and Shah Rukh starrer, praised the entertainment that the film offers and he further stated that he loved Anushka's performance as he felt the character she played was quite a challenging role.


Zero released on December 21 2018 and has garnered mixed reviewsfrom the audience and critics. The movie opened to a whopping Rs 20.14 crore on the day of its release. Virat Kohli was spotted at Melbourne Central after watching the film. The Indian captain later took to the micro-blogging platform to give a small review of the movie. He termed his wife's performance as 'outstanding' in the film and the others played thier parts well.


He tweeted, "Saw @Zero21Dec and loved the entertainment it brought. I enjoyed myself. Everyone played their parts well. Loved @AnushkaSharma performance because I felt it was a very challenging role and she was outstanding."

This is not the first time that Virat has publicly praised his better half for her acting. Earlier, when Anushka's film 'Pari' released, Virat couldn't control his emotions and ended up heaping praises for his wife's 'best work ever'. Virat and Anushka got married in a very intimate ceremony in Tuscany Italy on December 11, 2017.
