Indian power couple, Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal, tied the knot on December 12, 2018. All the pre-wedding festivities, wedding ceremonies and star-studded reception parties was all the internet could gossip and talk about for the past few days. The pictures and videos of bashes in Udaipur took over the internet until fresh pictures of the wedding and receptionsblew the internet by a storm.
In a couple of pictures and videos surfaced, the entire Bollywood brigade including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were seen serving food to the guests at Isha Ambani's wedding at their residence, Antilia. While the guests were seated at the dining tables, the Bollywood superstars were photographed serving them various different food dishes.
These pictures and videos went viral within minutes and received a mixed reaction from people. While some trolled the celebrities while others praised them for their gestures. A few others were in shock the such Bollywood dignitaries were serving food at the wedding. To put all this drama to rest, Abhishek Bachchan took to social media and replied. A user asked, "Why were Amir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan serving food in Ambani wedding?"

In his response, Abhishek shared some insight about Gujarati tradition wherein the bride's family feeds the groom's family. His comment read, "It is a tradition called "sajjan ghot". The brides family feeds the grooms family."
