Nick Jonas and Priyanka chopra ordered 18 ft tall wedding cake for their extravagant wedding. The cake consisted atleast six layers and the couple required a knife that looked like a sword to cut it at their Christain wedding.
The cake was cut after the couple exchanged vows at their first wedding ceremony i.e. following Christain traditions. A three-minute fireworks show was also scheduled after the cake was cut. After the fireworks, the couple had their first dance. They danced to the tunes of Roberta Flack's First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.
Glimpses of the ceremony was shared online by Priyanka and Nick personally. Priyanka said on a magazine's cover story, "Every girl dreams of being a princess on her wedding day but I never had a plan about what I wanted it to be."
Twitter has loved Priyanka's wedding and cannot stop discussing Priyanka's 75 foot veil and of course the 18 foot cake. One person wondered if the cake was available to rent on Airbnb. Another wanted a slice since obviously there was some left over.
Reportedly, Nick Jonas flew in chefs from Kuwait and Dubai to prepare the cake. These chefs visited several Indian restaurants to curate the menu, which also included a few Rajasthani dishes.
