Actress Priyanka Chopra is about to begin a new life with her American singer Nick Jonas. But we do not know much about their love story. We don't know how they met or who texted first or who made the first move? Priyanka has opened up about the personal aspect of their relationship in a new interview.

During the interview it was revealed that these two had been texting each other way before they even met at the Met Gala 2017. Nick made the first move smitten by Priyanka's beauty and ended up texting her. He sent her a direct message on Twitter in September 2016. He said, "I’m hearing from a few mutual friends that we should meet." Priyanka alerted him that her team can read all messages so he should contact her on her personal phone instead.

This couple then met at the Vanity Fair Oscar party where he got down on one knee infront of a crowd. He said, "And I put my drink down, get on one knee—this is in front of a bunch of people—and I say, ‘You’re real. Where have you been all my life?’ Like, loud." Later Priyanka invited him to her house where her mother was watching television in her night gown. “We hung out for a couple of hours... he patted my back before he left,” she said. “There was no kiss. There was nothing,” he confirmed.
“There was a back pat,” she said. “She’s still upset about that,” he replied. “Your mom was in the house! I thought it was a respectful first night,” he added. “It was too respectful if you ask me,” Priyanka noted.

On their third date, Nick knew he wanted to marry Priyanka. He proposed to her in Greece with a Tiffany ring. “I got down on one knee, again, and I said: Will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me? No joke—she took about 45 seconds. Forty-five seconds of silence.” When she didn’t say anything, Nick continued, “I’m going to put this ring on your finger now unless you have any objections.”
The couple made their relationship official after performing a roka ceremony in Mumbai in August. They are expected to tie the knot in Jodhpur's Umaid BHavan palaceon December 2, 2018. There are two ceremonies, a Hindu one and a Christain one - to be officiated by Nick's father.
