Kajol reacts to Ranbir-Alia being Rahul-Anjali in KKHH sequel...

To every director their first film is very special! But Karan Johar achieved a milestone by debuting with a movie like 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' and how! Any 90s kid will never forget dialogues like I dont like jokes I done like you, Pyaar Dosti hai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai Anjali tum nahi samjogi. The characters were well written because you cannot forget the contribution of Johnny Lever, Anupam Kher, Ms Braganza or the cute Punjabi kid at the summer camp. The soundtrack was a blockbuster hit as well.

Last night, Kuch Kuch Hota completed 20 successful years. The lead trio Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherjee were accompanied by Karan Johar at the anniversary celebration event. Shahrukh confessed that when Karan narrated the film to him he thought it was a 'crap story'. He signed the film because he believed in conviction of the director Karan Johar more than the script.

Shahrukh said, "Karan came and narrated an utterly nonsense crap story to me; which is certainly not the one that you people saw in the film. In his strange way Karan, the man with many words tried to impress me with his crap story. So yes, I really did not understand the story when I signed it but I am glad that I did not get into the story and just went ahead with the conviction of Karan, otherwise the film would have not been the way it came out."

Rani narrated an incident where Karan Johar would steal plates of food from her hands on the film set to keep her from eating more food and gaining weight.

Karan had suggested earlier that if he were to make a sequel of KKHH he would cast Ranbir, Alia and Jahnvi Kapoor. At the event when Kajol wasw asked if this trio can bring back the magic to the silver screen she promptly replied, "No!" Further describing that no one else can create the same magic again.

This film not only work wonders for Karan but also changed careers of Shahrukh, Kajol and Rani Mukherji.
