For quite some time now we have wanted to see Rajkumar Rao to do a big banner film. We have seen him try out various roles and pull them off with suave. Now, rumours suggest that Rajkumar has been approached for sequel of Dostana. A film that set benchmarks and introduced bromance to Bollywood is now paving way to a sequel.
After a decade, the comedy as well as songs of Dostana have left an impression on people's mind. There has been a lot of talk of Dostana 2 happening soon but there has been no confirmation about the movie or the cast.
The director of Dostana, Tarun Mansukhani has now been replaced by Karan Johar. Rumour has it that Karan didn't like the drafts brought up by Tarun for the sequel. So, Karan has decided to go with a new team for Dostana 2. It will be headed by Colin D'Cuncha, former assistant director to Rajkumar Hirani in Sanju and Advait Chandan in Secret Superstar.
If Rajkumar Rao decides to take up the offer, this film would definately become a must-watch. It will be interesting to see Raj doing some intense bromance. Will he be better than John-Abhishek jodi?
